Since 2013, we have posted memorial tributes to members in our email announcements. Prior to this, we would often mention departed members in the Annual Message. In 2012, we discontinued Annual Messages and switched from a bimonthly newsletter to a quarterly newsletter. December 2012 was our last annual remembrance that gave a collective summary of the departed. We sometimes are unaware of an active member’s passing and neglect to acknowledge it. But we do think taking time to memorialize these losses is an important aspect of the CU Maurice River community. If you see a key omission and are able to provide the member’s obituary we would be happy to post it here.
The CU Board thought it would be nice to have a memorial section in our website where people could take time to ponder a life well lived. The years listed below represent the year that they passed.
We hope you will occasionally take time to remember a lost member of our community.
